Salone Del Mobile 2025
The Zebra Team headed to Salone del Mobile for Milan Design Week 2025, to explore the wonderful exhibitions showcased throughout the week. We were excited to be surrounded by talented visionary creators that are helping to shape the future of design. This reel shows some of our highlights from the trip, and collections that caught our eye! Some of our favourite outdoor exhibitions were; The Library of Light, that presented an alternative view on how light shapes emotion, memory and space, and MUJI’s magical outdoor set up portraying the power of simplicity. With the weather on our side, it was no doubt the sunlight elevated the viewing experience on the outdoor exhibitions. Captured here are a few of these great moments outlining the future of design.
This year’s edition of Salone Del Mobile was all about sustainable design, bold aesthetics, and the blending of technology with craftsmanship, which was evident throughout the show. The Zebra Team had fun walking through the walking shards of Dezeen X Asus’s exhibition, dancing at Occhio’s party and visiting The Armani Hotel to see Elle Decor’s elegant set up.
This year in Milan, Occhio’s new dimension of lighting was intelligent, immersive, and emotionally resonant. Their new collections fused advanced technology with sculptural design, illuminating the atmosphere for everyone around. Occhio presented a range of products from gesture-controlled interfaces to light moods that you can customise. They redefined how people can interact with their spaces in their exhibition, and allowed choice for the buyers of their products to create and chose their moments. Occhio is a truly experienced brand and great at what they do, hence why we have chosen their lighting for the Zebra showroom! We would like to thank Occhio for hosting us, and putting on a great party; we had an unforgettable time.
We would also like to thank Iris Ceramica Group. Iris presented a new vision at the intersection of innovation and material consciousness this year for their exhibition at Salone Del Mobile 2025. Their latest surfaces ensured that they were designed with an eco-friendly purpose. Iris’s ceramic technology supports healthier living environments, conveying that responsibility and design can go hand in hand. The Zebra Team enjoyed an initial talk in their showroom, all about the launch of their new product. It is safe to say their warm hospitality hosted a great Milan Design Week experience for all that came to witness their successful new approach to design.
